Are you legally separated under state law?   If so, choose legally separated.  If not, choose Married.    You can file separately whether you have his SSN or not.  

You were legally separated from your spouse under a decree of legal separation or separate maintenance agreement on or before December 31, 2023.

Edit your Marital Status under My Info - you will be given the option to file Head of Household if you have a qualifying dependent.
