We usually file with mail in, but I decided to use e-file this year as I wanted to pay the taxes just through the direct debit. So, my spouse, who is a freelancer, received a W-2 this year from an organization that paid him thru PPP money. All well and good. No problem. And I filled in all the info regarding the W-2. (And I even kept all the Schedule C separate - which was easy this year because he had no additional income for a Schedule C, but did have "losses" that went against the income. But I digress. I'm looking over the 1040 that was e-filed (and "congratulations you've been accepted" by the Fed, State pending), and I cannot find any thing that resembles the form I filled out as the W-2 when I filled out the info in TT. I have the 146page 1040 with worksheets and I have the 67 page 1040 without worksheets that was filed. So, where does that W-2 now "live" in the system? Or is this going to be "what don't I know that I should have asked" situations that screws me up?

The details of the W-2 you entered is somewhere in those 146 pages. To find it in the PDF document, use CTRL+F to bring up a search box and then enter the employer's name. You can also find the amount of the W-2 wages reported on Line 1 of Form 1040.
Of course that was the first thing I did. I know what the amount is: I entered it. Doh. (Search). But... TT is amazing. Mark your answer "yes" or "thumbs up" and as "best solution." How about, no it didn't answer the question, that it was incorrect, and that the answer is "if you are efiling the information has already been shared and you don't attach or scan anything." So, my answer is the "thumbs up" and "best solution."
