If a person is married , but not living together now, and wants to file taxes separately but person does not know spouse's SSN what should she do?

Do you have a copy of a previously filed joint return? 

If you cannot find your spouse's SSN then you will need to print and mail your return. Include a statement with your return regarding your spouse's name and address (if known).
