How do I file my tax return and clearly indicate I have not W-2 as I did not work all of 2021.

you don't need to indicate anything.

you just have to get past TurboTax by having some income on your Form 1040.

Are you filing a 2021 tax return or a 2022 tax return? The only year you can file using the online product is 2022.
