I tried getting some information on my marital status, I was told they didn't have anything on me

I filed for legal separation 12/2010 I tried getting some information but I was told that they have no information on me. I have been renting a room for 6years

if you were not married on 12/31/2019 you either file as single or head of household if you have dependents.

if you don't know whether the divorce was final by 12/31/2019 maybe you should try your attorney.
