I received a corrected 1099 notice from etrade. When I went to import it, the uncorrected data was taken. How to get the correct document?

Importing a 1099-DIV does not get the corrected data

You're going to be far better off entering the few figures the 1099-DIV contains manually rather than continue efforts to import the corrected statement.

If the corrected 1099-DIV is not available, delete the original 1099-DIV and enter the new one manually.

On the menu bar on the left:

  1. Select Tax Tools
  2. Select Tools
  3. On the Pop-Up menu select Delete a Form
  4. This will give you all of the forms in your return
  5. Scroll down to the form you want to delete
  6. Select the Form
  7. Click on Delete

To enter your corrected 1099-DIV manually, check: Where do I enter my 1099-DIV in TurboTax Online?

I had the same thing happen.  I found that by going to FORMS and checking the 1099 in question the corrected data was filled in even though it didn't show up in the import screen.
