Did you claim the credit on your 2016 tax return? If you did, what was the reason your claim was rejected?

Or could you not use the credit in 2016 and it was carried forward but you still have not had any tax liability to use up the credit ? Review the 2016, 2017 & 2018 returns carefully ... did you use any of the credit and/or was it carried forward ?
