I only have a 1099-misc to report for $1330 as other income. Do i need to file taxes?

I only have a 1099-misc to report for $1330 as other income. Do i need to file taxes?

No - If that was your only income AND you are not a dependent of someone else you don't have to file a return.

If you are a dependent, then you have to file a return if your income was from self-employment [you were issued a 1099-MISC and not a W-2] and is $400 or more.
