There is a screen in TurboTax that causes filers to mistakenly think that TurboTax will send both the federal and state refunds at the same time. That screen refers to filing the federal and state tax returns at the same time for the additional $36.99 state preparation fee. TurboTax has no control over when your state and federal refunds are sent by the totally separate federal and state taxing authorities. They are sent separately.
