I make $8800 from Giant food store and receive $11000 from SSDI. No federal withholding from either. I am disabled. Do I need to file the SSDI?

No.  If that is your only income, then you would not need to file a tax return as you are below the minimum filing requirement of $13,850 for Single filers, and you had no withholding.  

However, you may still wish to file a return to establish a timeline of any income earned.  Generally, the IRS can include returns filed within the last three years in an audit. If they identify a substantial error or fraud, they may add additional years. They usually don't go back more than the last six years.
