I’m reviewing my insurance form and it isn’t letting me put in a number. When I put it in and press continue it goes right back to the same page with a $0

It’s telling me to review the 1095-A insurance form and asking for a number but won’t accept it

You should go back your return and delete Form 1095-A and try to enter it again.  To go back to the form, follow the steps below:

  1. Open or continue your return.
  2. Navigate to the 1095-A section:
    • TurboTax Online/Mobile: Go to 1095-A.
    • TurboTax Desktop: Search for 1095-a, then select the Jump to link.
  3. Select ‌Add/Edit ‌
  4. Click the Delete next to the 1095-A form you entered, confirm that you are deleting the form
  5. Select Add Another and re-enter your 1095-A information

Remember that even if your 1095-A shows a -0- as the enrollment premium for that month, you need to enter a number.  For the months that you had insurance, you shouldn't enter $0 in Column B. If your form has $0 on Column B, you should contact Marketplace and find out what the Second Lowest Cost Silver Plan amount was. You can also go to the Department of Health and Human Services tax tool.
