I'm positive that I selected the 'file by mail' option, but the 'file' tab in the desktop app, it says my efile was accepted. Is this an error? If not, how do I fix it?

I want to print and file by mail. Is the desktop app incorrect, or did it actually e-file my return? If it did, is there a way to recall it?

in the desktop version, open your tax file

on the right most tab it says "file"; click that and then click 'check efile status'

what does it say? 

if you indeed efiled, there is no way to recall it; it is the same thing as mailing the tax return at a post office- it is gone.
