I live in the state of Washington. Line 17 is blank on my 1099-INT. Turbotax will not allow me to proceed with leaving this box blank.

It tells me to enter 0 if blank. So I do. Then it tells me to remove 0 since the state of WA is not in the drop down for states.

If Box 17 is blank, box 15 and 16 should be blank as well. If all three of those boxes are blank, there should not be a problem.
