I just uploaded my taxes and it said that I sent it on 4/19/2017 will I get penalized?

TurboTax is required by law to transmit your e-filed return to the IRS with the time stamp of your time zone.

The acknowledgement from TT regarding the fact it was received by them is not the time stamp sent to the IRS.

If you e-filed before midnight you time zone, everything is OK>
