I imported my w2 from ADP portal only difference this year is I'm filing married but seperate I'm getting way less than last yr. Why?

Tax rates are higher for Married filing separate than they are for Married filing jointly.

When you file as married and separate, your standard deduction is half as much as when you are married.

In almost all situations, it is more beneficial to file Married Filing Jointly than Married Filing Separately.
