I have unemployment insurance and this year they are trying to make me use delux. Do I have to upgrade this year?

Because of the new Tax Law Changes, some forms are not available in the Free Edition for 2018.

For Unemployment, you need a Form 1099-G.

See if you qualify for the Free File Program, which will contain the form you need, and is Free for both Federal and State returns.
