I have uncashed income checks. Do I still have to claim them?

An old employer keeps sending me residual checks for insurance policies that I wrote as an agent 14 years ago..

I cannot cash them due conflict with existing company, but they won't stop sending.

I have not cashed a single check in years and tired of paying taxes on money I never really got, due checks uncashed.

Do I have to claim that income still?

If you received any documentation on them (W-2, 1099, etc.) and you meet the requirements to file an income tax return, you are required to include these amounts in your income tax return.  The fact that you did not cash the checks is irrelevant.
