You'll need TurboTax Self-Employed in order to report the self employment income & expenses for the Uber work. This software will also handle any of your personal income & deductions, as well.
The IRS views your side job for which you receive a 1099-MISC form with income in box 7 (non-employee compensation) as income from self-employment. In their eyes, you have a "business." TurboTax will prepare a Schedule C with your Uber income & expenses and it will be included with your individual form 1040.
