maybe.  however, this would require the child to live with one parent for more than six months of one calendar year and then live with the other parent for more than six months the next calendar year. besides living with the parent for more than six months during the calendar year, to claim HOH the parent would also have to pay more than 1/2 the cost of keeping up the home for themself and child,

The child has to live with you for more than half of the year for you to file Head of Household.
