I got a catastrophic plan from marketplace which doesn't provide 1095A. Rather it gets u 1095b from insurer .IRS says u don't need one to file taxes but how do I proceed?

I was filling my taxes and it asked if I had marketplace insurance which I did so I choose Yes. Then it asked me about 1095A form. But since I didn't have any , I contacted marketplace about it, they mentioned since mine as a catastrophic plan so I will not get 1095a

Yes, you can proceed.  When you get to the Healthcare section, you only need to enter that Yes you had insurance coverage all year (if you did) and then NO "you were not covered by any of these plans in 2017".  You will then get a message that says "That's all we need on your 2017 coverage"

A 1095-B is for your records only and is not entered anywhere on your return.
