I forgave a bonafide bad debt. I know it goes on Form 8949. Where in TurboTaxes software do I enter this information?

Enter it in the Investment Section. "Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other" You will continue describing it as "Other".

Enter the name of the debtor.

What type of investment did you sell? Other

How did you receive this investment? Something else
