I filed my return and got an email stating it was not accepted. I sent it again but did not get a response. How do I know if the 2nd efile was accepted?

I was head of household and my dependent passed away in 2020. The message stated my return was not accepted because my dependent's social security number was locked by the SSA. It said to efile again which I did. I did not get a second message. The only way to check online with the IRS if if a refund is due. How do I find out if the 2nd one was accepted?

If SSA locked the SSN then you will have to file by mail.
