I filed my federal taxes by paper in Turbo Tax Online. Then found out I can only file NY State taxes by e-file. Can I do this?

 I'm getting the error message: If you'd like to e-file your state return using TurboTax, it will need to be filed along with your federal return. You may also e-file your federal return now, then submit your state return later via TurboTax, by mail, or by visiting your state's tax website for alternative e-filing options

Ok ... did you really print, ink sign and put the federal return in the mail ?    If so your ONLY choice is to do the same for the state return .... EVEN for NY... that is the exception to the NY efile mandate.
