I filed my Federal and California taxes in February to get my refunds sooner. I made an error on the state tax form, putting the incorrect amount in one of the 2022 estimated tax payments. The Franchise Tax Board caught the error and sent me a notice indicating they have corrected it and I do not have to take any further action with them.
To keep my online TT file correct, I updated the erroneous estimated tax payment on TT. Now, TT sends me an email periodically notifying me that I should file my state tax before October 16, I assume because my last update was done after filing. Will TT decide I haven’t filed 2022 taxes and will this cause any problems when I work on my 2023 taxes?

Hi, @aharoneN_34 , thanks for the question! No, you can disregard the emails, and this will not affect your ability to do your 2023 taxes. Hope this helps, please let me know if not!
