I didn't get the Lifetime Learning Credit, but I am being told I have to pay $69 to file my taxes because I received the credit. I want to file for free but can't.

If you are sure you are not eligible for a credit, delete Form 1098-T and Form 8863. 

To Delete:

For TurboTax Desktop, switch to Forms (Upper right corner) 

TurboTax Online:

Select Tax Tools on the left side-bar

Select Tools from that drop-down

Select “Delete a form” on the TOOLS CENTER screen

Select  Form 1098-T DELETE and Form 8863 DELETE
