I currently live and work in Japan. What forms do I need to file on the wages that I have earned in Japan?

If you are a US citizen or resident you need to report your worldwide income. 

To report foreign income in TurboTax:

1. Open or continue your return.
2. Search for foreign income.
3. Select the Jump to foreign Income
4. Answer Yes to the question Did You Make Any Money Outside the United States? and continue. 

You may qualify to exclude your foreign earnings from income up to $120,000 for 2023. In addition, you can exclude or deduct certain foreign housing amounts. 

You can use Form 2555 to figure your foreign earned income exclusion and your housing exclusion or deduction.
