I am wondering why I cant file my taxes yet, even though I have paid. It says "The IRS hasn't finalized one or more of your forms. I thought you could file stating today

Yes, today is the day IRS starts accepting e-file, however there still could be forms that are not finalized yet.

Today the 1040 form was supposed to be available (1/7/2021) to use to file my income tax. But still shows there's a hold up. Why?!?

The 1040 was the only form that was holding up filing my income tax form. That was to be available today, 1/7/2021. What else is holding it up besides this form. Doesn't list any other form. My income tax is very simple, I thought .
