Some people may be required to mail their returns to the IRS.

You will choose print and mail your return as your filing status, then TurboTax will print all of the forms you will need to mail with your tax return. If you are unsure and want to verify the forms you printed should be mailed, you can reprint your return and select "Forms filed with the government" to print only the forms needed for mailing.

You will then mail your paperwork to the address listed in the instructions that print with the return. Please see the instructions in this link for mailing your return to the IRS: https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3401483

Once the IRS processes your return, if you are due a refund they will send this to you based on how you asked for your refund. Your refund should be issued in about six to eight weeks from the date IRS receives your return. Please see this link for the various ways you can receive your refund: https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3370270

If you owe the IRS, you will need to send the payment with your return or make payment arrangements for paying the balance due. Please see this link for options on paying your IRS Balance Due: https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3302458
