I am unsure as to whether or not to report my unemployment. I received a 1099G it has table a box 1 filled with my unemployment payment total and table b box 1 as blank.

Unemployment compensation in box 1 is taxable and should be reported on your tax return.

To enter your Unemployment compensation :

Open or continue your tax return
Search for 1099-G and select the Jump to link at the top of the search results
On the Did you or Spouse receive unemployment or paid family leave benefits? screen, answer Yes
Follow the onscreen instructions to enter your 1099-G information
