I am unable to enter numbers in certain cells and override is not available. The cells are not turbotax computations but blank cells.

You really should enter everything via the Step by Step.

The forms mode is intended for viewing the form and trouble shooting, not data entry.   Data entry in the form mode cancels the accuracy guarantee.    Many form cells come from worksheets and are not direct entries. To enter in the forms mod requires knowing what forms link together and the worksheets involved.    A single data entry in the interview mode can affect several forms and worksheets.    In the forms mode, you must do that manually.

I am unable to enter numbers in certain cells and override is not available. The cells are not turbotax computations but blank cells.

I am using the by step method, but cannot enter numbers into several cells. .e. miles for medical travel, and medical professionals.

If you have TurboTax Online you can clear your cache and delete cookies. Also, try refreshing your browser and even try using a different browser.
