I am married and file separate returns. May I itemize my deductions on my return and have my spouse take the standard deductions on her return?

No, when you file Married filing Separately, both spouses have to use the same deduction method. Either both spouses use the standard deduction, or both spouses use itemized deductions. One spouse cannot use itemized deductions when the other spouse uses the standard deduction.
