I am e filing my PA Return. It is telling me to attach my 1099-R form which I listed. How do I attach the form to my PA online filing?

If you were printing and mailing your tax return, you would need to include with the return any forms that had taxes withheld, such as a W-2 or a Form 1099-R.  If you are e-filing your tax return, the tax data from the Form 1099-R is already included in the e-file being transmitted and there is no need to send in any tax forms that show taxes withheld.  This assumes that you have entered the Form 1099-R into the TurboTax program.

To enter a form 1099-R

• Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
• Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
• Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
• Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
• On IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), click the Start or Update button
