I am claimed as a disabled dependent on my moms federal tax return. Do I still need to file a AZ state return?

I am claimed as a disabled dependent on my moms federal tax return. I am not required to file a federal return. I made too little,

Do I still need (or am I required) to file a AZ state return? My AGI would have been less than $6200. AZ Dept.of Rev. states if made less than $15,000 no, but if AGI more than $5,500 yes. It says nothing about being a disabled dependent.

If you paid Arizona taxes on your Earned Income, you can file a return to claim a refund of those taxes.

You are correct that with an AGI of over $5500 you should file an Arizona Resident return.
