I am a travel healthcare. I worked in MA,NJ,RI last year. My agency sent me 3 W2 forms with box 1 being empty. The only boxes that are filled is 16 and 17. How do I file?

Turbo tax will not let me file without box 1.

If you have multiple W-2's from the same company it is probably because there were too many state entries for one W-2.

You can simply continue in TurboTax with the original W-2 and add additional states.

You will have to prepare tax returns for all three states. I recommend that you do your home state last. You will get a credit for the taxes paid to the other states.
