I already filed my taxes in February before the tax forgiveness law was passed. It still says i owe $1,929. When will my balance be updated? It’s due 4/15

Everytime i try to amend it, it says they are waiting for instructions from the IRS. Am i still going to get charged the full amount or what?

@ball00nzz Let your original return process as you filed it, but you can Cancel your IRS Payment.

Don't Amend your Return. 

The IRS is making adjustments for the Unemployment Income Exclusion and will be sending refunds starting in May.

It would probably take longer to process your Amended Return than it will take to get your IRS Refund.
