I'm not getting an option to delete the form. It keeps asking me if I have a 1095-A. If I say yes it wants me to enter the data, which I can't do because I do not have Market Place Insurance. If I say no it says I can't e-file without it. I may have selected a wrong option earlier, but it's not letting me undo that. How do I get the form to stop asking me for a 1095-A?
As an update, a Turbotax advisor suggested entering my 2 letter state then all zeros for the policy, with 1,1,0 for each of the months to create the form. After that I was given an option to delete it, but after I do I'm back to the beginning with asking me if I've received my 1095-A. He then suggested reentering the data and leaving the form so I could finish my taxes, but this seems like something that is eventually going to create a problem if I can't get the application to stop assuming that I have Marketplace insurance.
How do I get the application to re-ask whether I have Marketplace insurance so I can select "No"?
If you've answered Yes to the question Did you get a 1095-A at any time it will stick until you initiate a form.
Make up a date and follow the interview.
You do not have to fill out the form.
You now should be able to continue your tax return.
