Turbo Tax doesn't actually do your taxes. Turbo tax allows you to do them. You buy the software (online downloadable or on a disk from the store). The "Deluxe" version, I believe, is the cheapest. It is about $45 and allows you to file your Federal taxes electronically for free. It also comes with one state so you can complete your state taxes. Filing state electronically is not free, but you can print out the return and mail it. If you have more complicated returns - rental properties or foreign investments - there are other more sophisticated software packages (Premier is one). You can go to Intuit's site and read up on what would be best for you.
