How do you start over? I use the desk top version.

The above answer tells me to delete the old file.  How do I find it?

With the desktop software you can start over by starting a new return. Click File in the upper left corner, then click New Return.

If you no longer want to keep the original you began you can delete the .tax file and any associated pdf copies you do not wish to keep. Please see below for assistance deleting the return:
