How do I shut them down and delete accounts I no longer use?

You don't have to delete your account.   The 2023 tax return will remain unfiled until Oct when the 2024 return becomes active.  We want to make sure that you can manage your data safely and easily. No matter which Intuit services or offerings you use, you can manage all of your data in your Intuit Account.
