How do I remove community property income so that we can file jointly instead of married, separately?

I originally selected married, filling separately, but I was curious about the taxes due if we filed married, jointly, but there is no where to delete the community property income I previously had listed.

You will want to change your filing status in My Info, from the left menu, on the Personal info summary page.





To delete unneeded forms in TurboTax Online, you can use Delete Forms

1. In the left menu, select Tax Tools
2. Select Tools
3. Select Delete a form
4. Scroll to the Form 1099 or W-2 that is duplicated and click Delete on the right
5. Then scroll to the bottom and select Continue with my return
