How do I pay to file my state return?

I understand I have to e-file my Federal Return, and have it accepted before I can e-file my state return. But time is short (this is April 13), and I am stuck in the intuit web site (ttlc.intuit.com) and cannot get out. If I could get out, I could opt to mail my state return.

You can pay with a direct debit from your bank account by entering the routing number from the bank as well as your account #, both of which appear at the bottom of a check from your checkbook.
