How do I know if I qualify for Exempt Tribal Income?

It would depend on what state you live in, but in general work you do on your reservation would be the main qualifier to treat that income as exempt from state income tax. Sometimes you need to live on the reservation as well. If you could clarify what state you live in we may be able to be more specific.
