How do I file jointly after the following? My return has been rejected due to my wife not having a 2022 return. My wife has become a resident alien as of late DEC 2023.

The app states that they need: 2022 tax return. Form 1040 or 1040-NR (doesn't exist) for her AGI.

If she did not file a return last year. You need to enter 0 for her AGI.
