How do I file an extenision for 2018. The answers in the FAq don't make sense? There is no "Federal Tax tab" on my version.

Can't figure out how to file an extension.  I tried to follow the directions on FAQ, but can't find the tabs they refer to.

It shows you are using the desktop version of the software so you won't have the same tabs.  (Federal taxes would equal Personal in the Home and Business version).

But, the quickest way to file an extension is to use TurboTax Easy Extension to file an extension online (the desktop program can only print and mail) and you can use this link below -

Note:  If you go the online extension filing route, make sure you enter any payment amount that you send with your extension in your desktop software as it won't automatically (Personal -> Deductions and Credits -> Estimates and Other Taxes -> Other Taxes -> Payment with Extension)
