How do i file 2022 taxes for a deceased person online

You will not be able to prepare a 2022 tax return online. You will need to download TurboTax Desktop for 2022. Please this link for guidance on how to download the software for 2022.

When you are preparing the tax return for the person who has passed, you will only file an individual tax return up until their date of death. Any income earned after the date of death would be reported on a trust return. Please see this link for more details.
