How do i file 2017 taxes and i started turbo tax on line and realized over half way through the forms it thinks im doing 2018 what do i do?

You will have to download the TurboTax software for 2017, you won't be able to use the online version. Once you are done with the return you will have to print and mail the return. Please see this FAQ for more information:

Can I uninstall today's update? I just opened TT and it installed updates. Now my return is gone! The menu gives no option to continue the return only to start a new one!
