how do I enter taxes deducted from my Canadian RRIF payments

To report your Canadian Pension Income, go to Wages & Income > Retirement Plans and Social Security > Canadian Registered Pension Income.

To claim a credit for Canadian Tax paid on this income, go to Deductions & Credits > Foreign Tax Credit.

• Uncheck the first box if you already reported Foreign Tax Paid on 1099's.
• Choose Passive Income as the Type of Income and enter the Pension Amount, Continue
• Enter Amount of Tax Paid
