How do i deselect "Parent's Filing Status" on Form 8615?

This is on my dependent son's return.  I had to null out my first name, last name and ssn.  But i also have to null out this selection.  But it's a radio buttong so something has to be selects.  I cannot select NULL.

It sounds like your dependent son's tax return contains interest, dividends or other unearned income in an amount that exceeds $2,500. 

In this case your name, Security Number,  filing status and other information is required to be provided.  This is because his tax rate depends on the information on your tax return.   To learn more see What is the Kiddie Tax?
