How do I claim food for celiac disease

@Melrennis -  you may be able to claim it as a Medical expense deduction if you meet the requirements.

You Need an Official Diagnosis to be Eligible Many people are eating gluten-free for a variety of reasons, but only those with an official diagnosis with a gluten-related disorder will be eligible for a tax deduction. You'll need a prescription from your doctor for a gluten-free diet as your treatment option as well.

Only the amount of your Medical expenses that are in excess of 7.5% of AGI qualify as an itemized deduction, and your total itemized must be in excess of the new, higher Federal Standard deduction.  State taxes may be different.

Here is How to /deduct Medical /expenses:

FEDERAL TAXES >Deductions & Credits>I'll choose what I work on>scroll down to Medical>Medical Expenses, click Start, Update or Revisit to the right of this category

Follow the screens and answer the questions to enter your medical expenses
