How do I change my return to account for the fact my daughter named me as a dependent?

Yes, you can change your return and not claim yourself as a dependent.

Open up your TurboTax.

• Select My Info from the menu.
• On your name block select EDIT. (You may have to press the down arrow next to your name)
• Continue through the questions.
• The question will come up Let's check for some other situations
• Click  Another taxpayer can claim me as a dependent on their tax return.
• Then Yes to Will this person claim you on their 2023 tax return?
